Course Content

Delegates will work through the course to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the following:

  • Using a first aid kit
  • Dealing with an unconscious casualty
  • Cardiac arrest
  • Resuscitation
  • Fainting
  • Low blood sugar
  • Asthma
  • Seizures
  • Severe allergic reactions
  • Eye injuries
  • Fractures
  • Poisoning
  • Burns and scalds
  • Bleeding
  • Choking
  • Shock
  • Accurate recording of accidents and incidents

Who Should Attend?

This First Aid at Work course is designed for any member of staff who require an first aid at work (FAW) certificate to comply with HSE Legislation and become a recognised first aider in the workplace. Also a more indepth first aid for anyone who would like to learn more or for someone who would like a step up from their emergency first aid at work qualification.

How Many Days?
